Short list named for acute care centre at BC Children's and BC Women's Hospitals

March 27, 2013VANCOUVER - Three qualified teams have been short listed to participate in the next stage of the competitive selection process to build the acute care centre at BC Children's and BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre.
Seven teams responded to the BC Children's and BC Women's Hospitals redevelopment project Request for Qualifications, which closed on Feb. 26, 2013. Following the evaluation of the responses received, the three teams invited to move forward to the Request for Proposals included Oak Street Health Partners.
Gracorp Capital Advisors Ltd. and Graham Design Builders LP are members of Oak street Health Partners.

Consortiums short-listed for the Region of Waterloo's
Stage 1 Light Rail Transit Project

March 6, 2013The Region of Waterloo has approved the three consortiums that have been short-listed to submit their proposals to Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Maintain (DBFOM) Stage 1 of the Region's Light Rail Transit (LRT) project. The decision marks a major milestone for the project.

During the past few months, each of the three short-listed teams successfully demonstrated through a rigourous Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process that they had the required design, construction, operations and maintenance capabilities and experience as well as the personnel and financial strength to deliver a project of this size and scope.
The three short-listed teams are comprised of world-class firms with major transit-building experience.

Gracorp announces a New Team Member

September 11, 2012Tim Heavenor is pleased to announce that Michael Laliberte has joining the Graham Group Ltd. as Senior Director, Infrastructure for Gracorp Capital. Michael's initial assignment will be to the Toronto office where his responsibilities will include leading Graham's efforts to pre-qualify and secure the contract for the Waterloo Light Rail Transit project. He will also be assisting with other major PPP's in the infrastructure sector, including the John Hart Replacement Project.

Michael brings to Gracorp, 30 years of experience and relationships forged through the development and delivery of major infrastructure projects - including major projects in Canada, the United States, Asia, Europe and Australia. His other qualifications include degrees fro the University of Michigan (Economics), McGill University (Law), and the London Business School (finance).
